Event Overview

Join our exciting 2-day online AI Hackathon where no coding skills are required! Open to students from any major, from 11th grade through college (Bachelor's degree).

Eligibility 

  • High school students (11th grade and up)

  • College students (Bachelor's level)

  • Exceptions possible for passionate youth below 11th grade

How It Works

  1. Form your own team of 4 youth from the community

  2. Don't have a team? We'll match you with others sharing similar interests

  3. Each team will be assigned a mentor to guide them through

  4. Choose a project domain: (any ideas from these domains)

    • Finance

    • Healthcare

    • Community Service

    • Bring your own Ideas  from any domain  (find your own mentor)

Next Steps

  • Sign up using the registration link to express your interest -  Register today!

  • We need at least 10-12 teams to proceed with the event

    • Initial Q&A session in March 

    • Workshops will be organized on different automation  tools  - April , May , June , July

      • This will help participants to gain knowledge on how to execute their ideas 

      • Helps trigger more  ideas

    • Access to supported tools will be provided during the Hackathon weekend

We're also seeking mentors and judges who can support both the event and participants.

Ugadi Special : Online Telugu Public Speaking Contest

The Kshatriyas Youth team is excited to organize online Telugu Public Speaking Competition as part ofTelugu Enrichment Initiative. We have been doing this program for the past 4 years under Mata Manthi name. This year we are enhancing and enriching this event to reach wider audience .

This competition is an excellent opportunity to showcase your children's communication skills in Telugu ,can provide children with a wide range of intellectual, emotional, and social benefits and can have a great time with fellow community members. 

Contest Details :

మాట మంతి (Maata Manthi)  : Public Speaking Competition Topic(s)  : 3- 4 Minute duration 

  • Primary School Kids:  Telugu Morale stories - Pick any of your favorite Telugu Story

  • Middle School Kids:  Express your emotions (love) towards a family member  in Telugu 

  • High School Kids:  Lessons from Ramayana or Bhagavad Gita  - Pick your own learnings and express in Telugu 

 ఆట పాట (Aata Paata) : All age group kids till college 

  •  In this round : some impromptu fun stuff  will be given to kids to express/talk/sing/repeat/etc

ఉగాది ముచ్చట్లు (Ugadi Muchatlu)  : College Going Boys : Explain in 5 minutes

  • Why we celebrate Ugadi and its significance 

  • Naming of the telugu new years

  • Any other significant info on Ugadi

ఉగాది పచ్చడి (Ugadi Pachadi)   : College going Girls :  Explain in 5 Minutes

  • Why we make this special recipe in every Telegu house hold only on this Ugadi day .

  • Significance & all the flavors /tastes of this patchadi

  • Bring all the ingredients and make the  patchadi live on the event 

Note* : All speeches/explanations should be in Telugu.

Weekly Online Yoga Sessions for Youth

KANA: Youth Wing , In association with Arunima Mantena a certified yoga teacher and practitioner, offering online yoga sessions for the Youth. She has many years of experience teaching yoga classes , she offered to conduct free yoga sessions for the Youth on zoom . 

To start with she will be organizing the following sessions from February 21st 2024:

1. Youth Yoga Sessions once every week on Wednesday  for  Age group 12-24 years

2. Pranayama Sessions once in a month - family can participate together  - Age group 12 Years and above

Expected Participation : Minimum 5  members . consistent low attendance may lead to cancellation of the sessions

 1.  We will be adding you to a whatsapp group and communication happens in that group regarding the classes and other details

2. please install Zoom on your computer/tablet- as the classes will be performed virtually using Zoom

1st Annual Online Spelling Bee Competition

Registations Closed . Please block the date, fine tune your child by showing the spelling bee videos online and let's create a platform to build networking and friendships among kids and families.

This competition is an excellent opportunity to showcase skills and have a great time with fellow community youth members. Participating in a Spelling Bee can provide children with a wide range of intellectual, emotional, and social benefits. It not only enhances their language skills but also fosters qualities like confidence, perseverance, and a love for learning that can serve them well throughout their lives.
